Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Microsoft Corporation (Bellevue and Redmond, WA)

Part of the Dynamics 365 Engineering Quality team. This position includes working closely with Software Engineers, Program Managers, and other technical staff to create and manage globally accessible SaaS offerings within the Dynamics 365 software collection.

Day to day work includes working with flexible, scalable infrastructure and Azure solutions to create and manage complex, redundant web applications. For the Dynamics 365 Marketing product I decreased the attack surface area by 50% while working on the mega-project to bring all Dynamics 365 services into Azure.

I have become a primary mentor for all Dynamics 365 SRE and Security new hires as well as a SRE methodology training instructor. I am also on the change approval board for all pre-production and production changes made to several of the Dynamics 365 codebases.

Daily tasks require expert level knowledge of MSSQL, Powershell, C#, Python, Azure REST APIs, AzureSQL, IIS, DNS, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and various Solarwinds monitoring systems.

Windows Systems Engineer for Catalyst Computer Technologies (Chandler, AZ)

New installs and on-prem-to-cloud migrations included Server 2012 running Hyper-V 3.0 and Powershell 3.0. Have configured AD, Group Policy automation, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SharePoint, Hyper-V leveraging iSCSI targets and MPIO. Specialization in supporting 24-hour facilities.

Carried out several migrations to Office 365 from in-house exchange environments, this included mailbox migrating using customized Powershell scripts. Used Powershell for mailbox cleanup and permissions population.

Planned and implemented the initiative to standardize all of the network documentation for domestic managed clients using a centralized wiki for all support teams using Microsoft SharePoint. This documentation was the result of days of SNMP trapping and network mapping.

IT Project Manager for Wee Care Family Clinic Corp (Mesa, AZ)

Oversaw the entire technical environment for the clinic. Developed and managed the Windows Server forest. Deployed and maintained the office network as well as all VPN connections to various EHR Exchanges. In charge of all network security for HIIPA compliance.

Planned and executed the migration to a completely HIIPA-compliant infrastructure, saving the company roughly $50,000 in consulting costs.

Windows Systems Administrator for Mayor Technologies Inc (Chandler, AZ)

Worked as part of a team of Tier 2 technicians engaged in 24x7x365 support for business networks and Windows servers. This included Server 2003/2008 Active Directory management, network topology upgrades, and SMB SSLVPN management.

Monitored and maintained 26 SMB office networks to insure 100% uptime of all workstations, servers, and gateway routers/switches. This included regular maintenance of Active Directory, Exchange 2003, Terminal Services, and WSUS.
